Location of Photo Session
My backdrops are open to the beautiful Colorado scenery - your own home or yard, neighborhood greenbelts, gardens, urban areas, barns, old buildings - the selections are endless! My focus will be on your child.

Your child will be eager to interact in their natural setting. I make it a fun experience for everyone!

My Style
I have a passion for capturing those images that will bring a tear to your eye for many years to come. It is my goal to make your child feel comfortable and relaxed so they are able to be who they are.

By making them interested in what I'm doing, I will capture those special moments - genuine expressions and their own personality. Many children do not respond well to "Say cheese!" and it's better to capture their real smile
instead of an expression that is not really them. I also enjoy capturing those natural moments: pouts, silly grins, that familiar frown, kissing or hugging a sibling. Those always end up being favorites.

Wardrobe Suggestions
This is all about your child and who they really are. My recommendation is to wear something that fits their personality - something simple, yet "them". What is their favorite outfit? Why not give them the choice of selecting an
outfit to change into after we are finished with portraits that you would like? That way they feel a part of it and will be more apt to participate eagerly. After all, it is about them!

Denim - How can you go wrong with denim? For years it has been the favorite of families everywhere. Add a simple white shirt, no shoes, that cute little face and you have it - the perfect portrait of your little angel!
When there is more than one child, I suggest dressing them in the same colors to avoid contrast - again, we want to concentrate on the subject, not so much the cute outfits (however, I am all about cute outfits!).
White tee-shirts with denim jumper, shorts, jeans and you can always add that splash of color for contrast.
